This program aims to motivate students to reduce risky behaviors associated with substance use. We will provide you with a structured opportunity to assess your own risk, identify potential changes that could work for you, and help you reduce your risk for developing future problems.
Have concerns about sleep? Want to increase your physical activity level? Looking to more effectively manage stress? Meet with a wellness coordinator to discuss your goals and to set a plan to work towards improving your well-being.
Q: What should I expect during my consultation?
A: During your consultation, you will meet with a wellness coordinator for approximately 1 hour. During this time, you will set goals, discuss barriers, and work with the wellness coordinator to establish a plan to achieve your goals. Follow-up sessions can be booked as needed. Q: Is there a cost associated with consultations?
A: General wellness, nutrition, tobacco cessation, and bystander intervention education consultations are free for all currently-enrolled students. Our BASICS and CASICS programs are free for students who are self-referred.
