Joe's PEERS
Get Involved. Make an Impact
Joe’s PEERS is a student leadership organization that promotes health and wellness through education, encouragement, and peer-to-peer support. Members build leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while connecting students to campus wellness resources. Focus areas include mental well-being, nutrition, substance use prevention, hazing and violence prevention, public health, belonging, and residential life.
Peer Wellness Educators
Lead Wellness. Inspire Change.
Peer Wellness Educators (PWEs) are trained student leaders who work with Student Well-Being to develop and promote campus wellness programs. They lead educational initiatives, prevention efforts, and awareness campaigns while gaining leadership, communication, and program planning experience and bringing a student voice to wellness efforts at Missouri S&T.
ProjectConnect
Small Groups. Big Connections.
ProjectConnect is a fun peer-led program now being offered on campus! Students meet in a small group over the course of the semester and engage in a series of thought-provoking questions and activities. This group aims to decrease loneliness and build stronger connections with peers. The sessions last for 1-hour each week.
