Celebrate Mental Well-Being Awareness Week by spreading kindness and creating connections! Join Admissions for a fun friendship bracelet-making day where current Miners will create a Miner-themed friendship bracelet for a prospective student visiting campus. Each bracelet will be paired with a personal note welcoming them to campus and reminding them that they already have a place in the Miner community. Come make a bracelet, write a note, and help us show future Miners that they belong here! 

Recharge Your Battery: Sleep for Success

Join Student Well-Being as we host an open session of the Well-Being Ambassador Training! During your time in college, you may encounter difficult conversations and situations with your fellow students that you feel unprepared or uncomfortable at handling. This is a workshop that prepares you with the knowledge and skills needed to be confident in providing effective support to other students. *This training is open to students only*

Healthy Relationships

Everyone deserves a healthy relationship! This event helps students recognize the signs of a healthy relationship while learning about resources available on campus. Students can test their knowledge through a fun game of Plinko and explore what healthy, respectful relationships can look like.

Stretch, relax, and soak up some puppy love!  Join us for Puppy Yoga, a fun-filled session combining movement, mindfulness, and adorable puppy cuddles. All experience levels welcome! Bring your own yoga mat if you have one. Limited mats available. 

Topic on the Table - Networking Without Nerves

Topic on the Table is a weekly get-together for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to build confidence, strengthen communication skills and meet people beyond their usual circles. Each week, a new topic sparks conversation and creates a low-pressure way to practice speaking up, connecting with others and navigating conversations with people you may not otherwise meet.

Community Conversations About Suicide Prevention: Veterans & Suicide Prevention

Join the Missouri Suicide Prevention Network for their Community Conversations About Suicide Prevention. Their Community Conversations are open to anyone interested in learning more about suicide prevention and connecting with others working to make a difference across Missouri. This virtual conversation will focus on suicide prevention among Veterans.  They will explore the unique considerations surrounding Veteran suicide prevention and the important role communities can play in supporting Veterans and strengthening prevention efforts.
